Re: New York City, NY, USA [RESULTS]
Oooh..i love your sketches, alisa and mabeloos... Wish I'd gotten there early enough to draw the fountains. I only did a couple watercolors yesterday. Re: New York, NY, USA
I might be up for Central Park. Williamsburg doesn't seem that interesting to draw. I was also thinking about Coney Island even though it's far away. There's a jazz performance on the Great Hill in Central park Saturday afternoon: http://www.nycgovparks.org/sub_things_to_do/upcoming_events/events_se...

New York sketch results
here's a few of my drawings. We spent most of the day at the Central Park Zoo. In the evening we went to the Met, and then I lingered in a Barnes and Nobles cafe for a while. http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/5108/2341/1600/574606/Sketchcrawl12_rainforest.jpg http://photos1.blogger.com/x/blogger/...

the digital coloring adds a really nice mood.
mabye try creating a custom watercolory brush in photoshop....they're fun to experiment with and kinda hide the perfect roundness of computer paintbrushes.

We spent the afternoon in Bryant Park, which is the park behind the New York Research Library. Later in the evening we went to...

Bryant Park anyone?
Sketchcrawl is coming up very soon... If no one objects, how about we meet at Bryant Park? It's a good place to people watch, lots of places to sit, and is easy to find. We can always wander down to the Morgan Library from there, or take the train to the South Street Seaport. Bryant Park between 1:3...
