Wow, quite the weekend. Saturday’s SketchCrawl was fantastic, we had glorious weather in San Francisco. We had roughly 80 artists joining us to draw away around the city. We started at Embarcadero, then headed up to Coit Tower through Filbert Steps, then down to North Beach and we finished the day in Chinatown. It felt like we were just getting started. You can see drawings from the San Francisco chapter here and from other corners of the world here.
Sunday’s auction at Maverix Studios was also spectacular. We had roughly 90 donated art pieces on the walls of Maverix. The silent bidding through out the evening was really bustling. To top it all off we had a nail-biting auction finale with live bidding on a few chosen pieces. The highest grossing piece went for $800. We should have some numbers on how much the whole weekend benefit raised real soon!

My hats off to all of you that participated in, donated to and sponsored this event. The response to his fundraiser has been all around heartwarming. Thank you, thank you and thank you!

Still would like to donate? It’s not too late, details on how to donate to EmergencyUSA can be found here.
