New Mexico First Sketch for WWSC (Result)

It was a cold day here in New Mexico, so I stayed inside and did an ink and watercolor sketch of my nice warm tea! Now to try to upload my picture! Then on to see what everyone else has done! Hope this works!!!

Thanks for checking us out. It rains a lot here, but that is the lifeblood of our lush plants and plentiful wildlife. We had three years of drought (in Florida terms), so we welcome the rain. The saying in Florida is "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute". It stopped raining on our paper, but clouds won't actually clear until tomorrow.

We could use the rain here in New Mexico! But we moved from Kaua'i, so I understand your Florida sayings! We'd have monsoons in the morning and beautiful weather in the afternoon! I do like having 300+ days of sunshine here, but really need some of that rain! Looking forward to everyone's posts!

Had a solo sketchcrawl too here in Vienna. Sketching in sunshine and walking the dog in heavy rains an hour later.

Thank you m9fred, gadwriter, Joan T and travelingsuep! I was "pushing" colors as an experiment today...I don't usually do such bold colors, but loved playing! Now I have to try to find all your sketches!
