And once more I received sketches from different locations.
- Many thanks to all participants!
John
John sent me a drawing of his Baoding balls (Chinese health balls).
Manfred
As usual every sketchcrawl starts with a cup of coffee in the morning but Halloween is looming on the horizon and so I put some suitable napkins on the table.
Later on I sketched some floral motifs in the yard while Amy kept an eye on me (except she was chasing insects or chewing on a stick).
Very probably the last blossom on the rosebush this year.
A small sprout on a butterfly bush (Buddleia [bot.]).
Gertrude
A quick sketch from my mother, an old coffe-mug with handpainted decor (a heritage).
Arco Iris and friends met up for a guided walking-tour in Weinviertel (wine quarter), a wine-growing district in the north east of Lower Austria famous for delicious wines and beautiful landscape.
Visitors in an ancient wine cellar.
A bat on the wall.
Arco Iris
This view out of a car window was painted during the drive.
Picturesque window inside a nice chamber with a tilde stove.
Andrea
A beautiful view of a vineyard.
Chrisi
A wine bottle and glass - ready for tasting.

Instead of just posting sketches, you told stories and gave us some reference. Very enjoyable way to view "results."

Mark

Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]
Please excuse my inaccurate information about the first photo of Arco Iris (the one in the cave).
The photo shows an old sand mine (in the same area as the wine yards). Until the end of the 19th century sand of this mines was a sought-after resource for glass production and has been exported even to the Czech Republic.
Thank you very much for your nice comments!
