Osaka&Kyoto Japan[Results]
Fast of all, I upload Yamazaki-station photo. Yamazaki is border of Osaka and Kyoto.
It was cloud ,humid and pretty hot day. Thanks, Remi. I had fun time.
We visited Suntry Yamazaki Distillery at first. They are in Osaka side.
Here is front of JR Yamazaki-station. It was small , but people had relaxing.
Yamazaki is historic place of struggle for power.
There was many wars in samurai.

Oh, those are beautiful! I especially like the delicacy of the shrine sketch and of the last four sketches.

Hi debora, Sophie Valenti Thanks a million your comments to my sketches!
incidentally, I introduce my sketch tools this time.
I tried to draw with my Tablet. It has some problem that I draw freely.
'Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art main building' was drawn by my Tablet. Software is SketchBook Pro 2011.

Re: Osaka&Kyoto Japan[Results]
Hi guys ^_^
Sorry for the late post. Too caught up with school and all the festivals going on in Kyoto. @_@
Lunch with my friends:
Lunch by hew&saturation, on Flickr
The setting of the table. Each of us brought a dish from our own country, or just bought something. We all chatted, played cards and had a good time.
Philippine food by hew&saturation, on Flickr
Philippine food cooked by my friend. Eggplant, pumpkin and other vegetables cooked in coconut milk. I forgot the name of this dish >.<
After that, we all went to Gion festival together.
The Gion festival is one of the largest festivals in Japan. Since this is my first time going there, it was interesting. However with all the crowds and the summer heat, it was too hot and tiring.
Gion festival parade float by hew&saturation, on Flickr
A quick sketch of one of the parade floats on the eve of the main festival. People were playing flutes and ringing bells on the floats.
Very good work done by you guys at Yamazaki. Lovely details Looking forward to the next sketchcrawl!

Hi!
Thanks sharing for your great sketches!!
Did you enjoy your friend's party at Gion festival night?
I'm interested in the accurate color of your choice.
It certainly is. I thought by the parade floats.
Yaa, I'm looking forward to the next sketchcrawl too!
p.s. The Tenjin Festival in Osaka at 7/24,25.
It's the one of Three Super Crowded Festivals in Japan. lol

buzzlyhan san, sketchers,
Pleased to see your wonderful sketches! Line is beautiful.
It may have been too hot on that day, but these paintings make me very cool and comfortable.
Looking forward to seeing next time, too.
