Hi everybody!!!
Here you have half of the results for the 21st SketchCrawl in Barcelona!
The morning started chilly and cloudy but the sun came out later on. This time we met at MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) and after visiting the permanent collection and the bookstore, we spent some time sketching in the square next to the museum, after that and a bit of rest and chat in a terrace we head to La Boqueria market where we sketch a bit more and call it a day!
Looking forward to see Dave sketches' (my partner in crime @ http://dave-sketchblog.blogspot.com/). But we'll all have to wait a bit more as he's quite busy at work and it'll take him a while to get his results scanned&uploaded. So stay tuned!!!
Overall, I enjoyed the whole experience a bit more, as being my second time, I was a bit more confident and relaxed. Also happy to see Dave again! As usual not that happy with the results... gotta sketch more in between SketchCrawls!!! But the last sketches I did left me happy (the ones I coloured later on my computer)
Hope you all like them!

Re: BARCELONA, Spain [RESULTS]
Thanks everybody for your kind comments, just one question can you see all the images!?!? 13 in total counting the color versions separately... they don't load properly on my computer, but followed the same procedure as last time & the ones that do load!!!
Anyhow, answering 4ojos, I colored it on Photoshop CS3, with a brush I made by chance, if you're interested I could send you the presets if you like (I think;)

Re: BARCELONA, Spain [RESULTS]
Sorry for posting late ( I see the call for the next sketchcrawl is already up!) Thanks to Eclectic Box for getting the Results post up and running and explaining about the route we took on the day.
These were some warm up sketches from a video that formed part of the permanent collection at MACBA. It was a video documentary by Carlos Pazos, with B/W images of sculptures models ( each image had a screen time of about 15 sec )
Some sketches outside of MACBA. We were told to keep the green stickers as it would entitle us to enter the nearby Capilla where further works are on exhibit (turns out it was open to all the public anyway)
These are from when we stopped for a break at a plaza just behind the famous Boqueria market (the bottles of wine aren't ours!!)
Didn't get to draw any buildings on the day, I was a bit low on concentration, but still in all it was a fun day. Thanks again to Eclecticbox for making sketching more fun in company!(By the way, I can only see three images from your post) Looking forward to the next one already.
p.s. A big thank you to Bibi from the Firenze sketchcrawl for always reminding us of when the upcoming crawls shall take place.

Hi Dave!
So good to see your sketches! Although they might look loose to you. You always capture the pose very precisely!
I like the people faces and it's weird & funny to recognize myself on a couple or more sketches!!!
It seems that I have some problems uploading my pics, although I'm following the same process as last time, some resist to upload properly and others don't. However and even I know it's quite annoying to be opening more windows I've included the direct links for the missing ones... I've tried everything already without any improvement!
Also here's the link for my entries album on this SketchCrawl:

Looking forward for the next one too! Hopefully with more people!

@Dave
your style it's so original and you catch people's personality so well with few lines that I will always remind you to join the sketchcrawl so I will not miss your sketches
