Sketchcrawl 12.5 - Netherlands
Since I have plans for tomorrow, I decided to do sketchcrawl 12.5 today (27-01). So here are sketches of the interior of my apartment:
Note/edit: I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Home Crawl--Tucson
Cupboard in dining room
From great room looking to front door.
In AZ, we call a living room a great room
Kitchen-I do love mustard yellow and cobalt blue tile!
Sitting room in Master bedroom.
That's it from me. Looking forward to seeing everyone's houses!

Alright, well I plan to sketch tomorrow too, but I did one sketch last weekend while I was up at my family's lake cabin. (I wish I would've done more, but it was just a quick visit for part of one day and I opted for playing board games, ice skating, and eating)
this was in color pencil, but it twas too light for the scanner to pick up (which is good to know before the sketchcrawl tomorrow) Anyways, so I switched it to sepia in iphoto
here is a reference photo of the room (taken last summer). I sat at the counter for this crawl.
(this is in North-Eastern Washington State by the way)
this is by far my favorite get-away..tomorrow I'll have to draw you my messy room..it's quite the change of scenery

at home
Today we had a visit from Switzerland, our friend Maria who is travelling to Jordania. We were chatting instead of drawing furniture and objects so I sketched Toña and Maria instead.
The second image is my worktable after the chatting.
Oooops. I forgot to give you the location. It´s Madrid, Spain. Cold (2º) outside.

@ Mirko: great bathroom-sketch ! ! I really like your watercolouring and the angle. What a neat thing do use on the ground in the first sketch with you blue shoes stuck on?
@ 4ojos: no sketch, no matter: at least, you did a real-world-chat instead of an online-chat
And here some insights
the wonderful left over postcards from our Christmas cards our nice family and friends sent us .. and now we un-decorate them .. step by step .. from our boards onto our kitchen table .. into our boxes [Eva und Nando, erkennt Ihr Eure Karte und Euren Absender ]
"Hun' we have another G4," she said realizing that besides an old "MacG4" we have another technical device up under the ceiling in our tiny toilette - right above the door: our gas meter which is branded G4, too =)

Wow, great ... this is so much fun ... drawing away in my apartment and checking on what people are posting from around the world ... so neat !
So, keep 'em coming !!!
And please everybody remember to tell us where you're drawing from !
DonnaM- wow, such a colorful house you have!! Great ...
Maxine- wonderful!!
Mirko- wow, bellissimi disegni !!! Bravo mirko ...
4 ojos- uhm, can't see the drawings for some reason
Peter- Nice sketches, funny that your gas counter is called g4
Donmcn- you need to upload images on either your own website or a flickr account ... once you have the images on the web, you will need the url address of each image ... for example:
http://www.example.com/image01.jpg
copy the address of your image
then in a post you will need to either
1: hit the IMG button up top left, paste image url, hit the IMG button again.(this will give you the code needed to show the image
2: just type the code which is
hope this is clear ... we should have this at the top of each crawl forum I guess ... will see to that for next time ...
Rowland- nice sketches !! thanks for linking to the images directly !
ok ... later !
