Re: Date officielle / Official day
And probably getting worse as we are only about a month away from the next one and there's still no announcement.

Re: Date officielle / Official day
Well it's never been this late before, I messaged all the moderators as well but no reply. Perhaps Sketchcrawl is dead?
Re: Date officielle / Official day
I'm checking every 2 days, and no date yet. Maybe it would be smart to establish a calendar at the beginning of each year.
Re: Date officielle / Official day
Sinon, tant pis !
But who has the power to decide? The founding member seems so far away, in the mist of the "States"! :
For our part, in Geneva, we sketch every last Saturday of the month!
If it falls on a "official" Sketchcrawl, ok. Otherwise never mind !
(sorry for my poor English )

No problem, I understand!
We have been sticking to the official dates but if there's only three weeks notice then it gets unworkable to organise.

Re: Date officielle / Official day
I messaged the moderators over a week ago and no response. The forum is being overtaken with spammers as well so I guess this is the end of Sketchcrawl?

Re: Date officielle / Official day
Well having two is an improvement but there's only 2 weeks notice for the first one which is not much good.

And a year on, it is still the same !

Re: Date officielle / Official day
Worse actually as it's only about 3 weeks away. It's rather depressing really, I love this forum but it is getting unworkable to arrange things at such short notice. The moderators seem to have given up as well, so much spam on here again.

Re: Date officielle / Official day
I agree that we should set Worldwide Sketchcrawl date officially in advance: 3rd Saturday of January, April, July and October.
Only variable might be the July one, which is timed to coincide with Urban Sketchers Symposium (which usually takes place on 3rd weekend of July, but not always.) Ironically, even though the July date fluctuates from year to year, it is the one we can plan in advance since Symposium dates are announced a few months in advance.
...so I'm going to plan a group sketching event on 3rd Saturday of October (Oct. 21), whether it's an official Worldwide Sketchcrawl Day or not
