OK gang, let's start the discussion about where. The weather should be better by April 22. Maybe someplace with plants and blooms. Any ideas? Let's start a list. We have a month.

I would like to suggest the wildlife refuge south of town. Plenty of parking, possibly shelter from the April showers and lots of spring growth! The birds will be singing, lots of hiking trails, etc... And YES I will make it this time!!
So, what do you think?
Another location could be Bald Hill. Again good parking and access for all. My preference is towards the refuge.

Refuge sounds good to me. It's close and free and I haven't been there recently.

other meeting possibilities
If you want blooms, we could always meet at a nursery, or Avery Park, or even a private residence garden ... ?
As this Sketchcrawl is on a Saturday, I would like to know where we can meet at the end as I may not be able to start with everyone.

The sketchcrawl is a week from tomorrow. We need to make some decisions.
Where? When? and Where to meet up afterward. Gathering Together Farm Stand is open now and would be a good meetup afterward place if we are out that way. The MU was fine I thought and the campus would be a warmer place this time of year (we could probably actually be outside). If we choose the Refuge, we could come here afterward or just meet someplace at the Refuge (parking lot?). A private home/garden would be nice - anyone offering? Green Gable is interesting and within walking distance to Gathering Together, but GG charges to get in. I don't know what the charge is.
Someone else - help. What do you think?

I misread the calendar. It's not day after tomorrow, BUT we still need to decide what we're going to do.

Talking to myself again.
Here's what I propose for the April 22 sketchcrawl.
Let's meet at Green Gable farms. That's W. of Philomath where 34 and Grange Hall Rd. intersect. (enter on Grange Hall) There is a parking lot. There is a fee for wandering the gardens. It is 1 mi. from Gathering Together Farm where we can meet in the afternoon for outstanding pastries or just coffee or tea and to see what everyone did.
How about 10:30 at GG and 3 at GTF?
Ok, it's your turn. Say something.

It's rain or shine, right? Today is a little dim and grey but tomorrow should be better. If it really seems impossible to be outside, I suggest we meet at Gathering Together and devise a Plan B. But I'm hoping the weather goddess will bring on the sun.
10:30 at Green Gables.
See you there!

Who says you can't sketchcrawl alone? The wind was nippy and I kept moving, trying to find someplace sheltered from the wind, but warm from the sun. It was a pretty day.
One other person was doing a private sketchcrawl elsewhere. So we were alone together.
