Bangkok, THAILAND -- [RESULTS]
I start this thread early for all Bangkok sketchers which are now sketching at one of the famous Bangkok tourist spots, Phra Athit Road & Phra Sumane Fort.
Pls. check back here because as P'Asnee, the BangkokSketchers's organizer, said that we should have works from many many Thai sketchers. As I am now travel in the US. I will post my Crawl results later here as well.
Cheers,
Ai

Re: Bangkok, THAILAND -- [RESULTS]
thank you krub, Khun Eyes. We had a good afternoon crawl today at Santi Chaiprakarn Park where one of the only city fort left in Bangkok. I am posting here just an appitizer (again) and many more are following soon. See all again tomorrow:-)
over ten of us turned up at the park. it was rather hot at the beginning of the afternoon but some river breeze did make some magic. we also glad to welcome three of the new comers, K Goong, K Yui and K Yok, who join us for the first times.
This is also our first afternoon trip and I think it work out well since the weather gets cooler towards evening as we sketch and at the end, we had a good dinner together with plenty of time to relax and more exchange of views... fun.
There will be many more from Bangkok for this crawl, so... do please come back to share our view of Bangkok,.
cheers all
Asnee

Hi all,
This time I am away in the USA. visiting my in-law family in Birmingham, Alabama but because I am also an avid member of BangkokSketchers so I would like to post my SketchCrawl in the US. here.
I went SketchCrawling solo for four hours from 10;00 am. in the local city, Birmingham, USA. They happen to have a beautiful botanical garden with Japanese garden inside. So I think it is so appropriate for the Japan Relief campaign we have here on SketchCrawl. Here is the real scene:
I did them both as a 2 page spread inside my Moleskin watercolor sketchbook.
#1 The main gate of the Japanese Garden
#2 The black bamboo forest inside the Japanese Garden.
Cheers from Alabama, USA.
Thanks for looking and commenting.

Hi, Ai,
I paid a visit to Thailand's sketch crawl thread because my sister and her husband are moving from Tokyo to Bangkok in May. Then "Cheers from Alabama, USA" caught my eyes because I live in Mobile, Alabama now. Then I found that you painted in Birmingham Botanical Gardens! My nephew (my sister's son) and I visited there last February and enjoyed Japanese Garden. I just wanted to thank you for choosing Japanese Garden for Japan relief campaign. I have to tell my sister to join you guys in next SketchCrawl.

Hi Kaoru,
Thanks so much, yes, I am sure next Crawl I will be back to Bangkok. To go SketchCrawling with your sister will be more fun next time.
Besides, the Thai BangkokSketchers group recently just had an art show to raise money for Japan Relief last month.
