New pictures!
Alice's beautiful painting from the Wichita Sketch Crawl:
And a picture of a very low-tech sign. (Perhaps I will buy an official t-shirt before the next crawl to display as a prettier sign!)
We've had a stormy week in Wichita, but the threatening skies didn't stop three friends from drawing in Riverside Park today. (We were "toughened up" by the plein air watercolor class we took last fall at CityArts, a community arts center.) We sketched and painted Campbell Castle, which was one of the first homes built in the Riverside area of Wichita in 1888. Now it's a bed and breakfast inn. Thank you Global Sketch Crawl for giving us a reason to try plein air painting again. Maybe the next Wichita event will be a real crawl...

Thank you Kath and Mike, Paint Monster, and kmillustration for your comments. Our first Sketch Crawl was fun. It's great seeing the results from all over the world, too.
