San Francisco CA [Results]
Re: San Francisco CA [Results]
Hi, San francisco falks!
Your sketches are all great and cool!
I always like Enrico's watercolor style and well drawn perspective.
And Jackson's artistic sketches impressed me very much.

Wow, I was a bit intimidated on this, my first crawl, when I saw the great things people were creating, and now seeing them posted I am even more intimidated! But I will post anyway...
It was great to be out and sketching life, something it seems I haven't done for ages....
"Empress" building overlooking Portsmouth Square. This was my favorite, because of all the subtle colors to try and paint in the textures of the building...
Trees in Washington Park. Wasn't happy with this because I failed to catch the wonderful negative space between the two clusters of trees...
A couple older gentlemen at Portsmouth, and an interesting fellow with an orange blanket that jumped out at me at Washington Park:
an average/awesome SF street:
back at Portsmouth Square:
and when everyone gathered again I couldn't help but rush this out, because there was so much story in such a small area, with men playing cards, crawlers drawing them, other men peeking at the drawing, and crawlers taking photos... not the best sketch, but a great story behind it! =)
And, this is probably cheating, but on my train ride home the next day, I still had sketching I needed to vent! Epilogue (at the Millbrae train station):
Thanks to Enrico for inspiring me to go to a crawl with his great art, and thanks to everyone else for inspiring me with their wonderful art on the board and at the SF crawl!

I want to move to SanFran!!! what a fabulous SketchCrawl group. Although like Milkgap, I think I would be intimidated by so much great art being produced.
Well done everyone!
