The Guadalupe/Nipomo Dunes complex is an eighteen mile stretch of coastal dunes, much of it preserved. It's a great place to sketch. Two ten minute sketches. One is of a local shrub, senencio. The other is one of an older dune (old dunes have more plant life). I only found out about this site, Sketchcrawl, this morning, so I sketched alone.
