I love the hands on those statues, Soeren. You can hardly see all the lucious rendering in the tiny Molskeine. Scanned and scaled it looks amazing.
Skillful use of light and shade, Ambassador. It really brings a sense of light and realism when you can go in and "spot" darks.

Re: London, UK [Results]
Thanks, JP. Everyone check the website link in JP's profile. His animation design work is really awesome.
Here's a link to the art tutorial which I mentioned during the sketchcrawl.

Re: London, UK [Results]
Thek, beautiful drawings as always. There is a lovely line quality to these, particularly in your drawing of S. at the Buddhist display. HedgeWytch, I have such a hard time drawing "normal" cars that I have to caricature them. Thanks, though, for mistaking my weakness for something positiv...

Great job, Hedge Wytch. The design of your set of three sketches are really cool and sophisticated.
5 of us joined up at Sloane Square then wandered off to the Victoria and Albert. Here are mine:

We should meet at Sloane Square, the benches near the memorial. It is directly across the street from the tube station.

London, UK
It's on!
How about a sketchcrawl from Sloane Square to Knightsbridge then down to the Victoria and Albert Museum? We could follow, if time allows, with Kensington Gardens or Kensington High Street.
Rainy day alternative would be to stick to the museums at South Kensington.

I love the sense of whimsy in your people sketches, Thek. Lots of character in those faces.
The people remind me of Jules Feiffer's work.

Re: London, UK [Results]
Hi HedgeWytch. It looks as if you had a good day, even if you had to sketchcrawl solo. We had an excellent turnout this time, starting at the National Gallery and stopping for lunch at Covent Garden. Not lucky enough to get a free lunch in exchange for drawing, though! Next time we'll have to try Po...

It's like Thek said, we (well, me in particular) tend not to get it together until the last minute.
I will be there as usual, though. 11AM outside the National Gallery.

Over 18 hours! Thor, that's an amazing sketchcrawl. What's more, you managed to capture loads of character in all of your subjects right up to the end. Awesome. Nice work, Pam. I agree with Enrico about the salad. It's quite an achievement to render lettuce with a black pen and still make it look ta...

Sketchcrawl 24 was fantastic. We wandered along the Southbank to the Tate Modern.

Count me in, too.
Starting at the Southbank sounds good. We can also crawl the Tube to wherever might be interesting, so no need to limit to any one area.

Three of us showed up on Saturday. Gotta do a better job about getting the word out. I KNOW that a city this size has to have more sketchers in it. We started at Victora, then walked to Sloane Square and finally to the Victoria and Albert. The colour studies are from a trip I made the next day to St...
