I had intended to walk miles through the English countryside, but it was really hot and when I discovered the village fete was on, I turned round and came back because I thought that might have more potential.
This was the drawing I liked the best, because I 'caught' John with the beard - a local character and my window cleaner - in the cream teas tent.
