Just wonderng if anyone there heard from Clio since she moved to LA? Maybe too busy to crawl? Would be fun to crash the Disney studios and sketch her at work.

The Zoo(because weather is getting nice) or the new dino hall sound like excellent ideas

Hi Shiho and Everyone,
Lots of great suggestions! Some favorites of mine are: LA Zoo, Descanso Gardens, Griffith Observatory, Old Town Pasadena. I'd also love to do China Town, Little Tokyo or Farmer's Market (I believe that you get a ticket when you go in, and need a vendor to validate it for you when you leave)...I'm open!

Re: Los Angeles, California [USA]
My vote is for Descanso Gardens - they have a biergarten to celebrate Octoberfest that day, so if you get tired of sketching flowers, looks like there will be musicians and people to draw (and beer): http://descansogardens.org/index.php?op ... &Itemid=73

Hi Shiho and All,
Descanso sounds great to me! I love drawing there, a lovely and peaceful place, and the biergarten is an added bonus!

Hi,
I'll plan to see you at 11 on Saturday! I too would love to get email notifications if that's possible? I've checked "Notify me when a reply is posted"--I'm guessing that's the best way?
thanks,
Virginia

I'm not sure what e-mail notifications you're referring to, maybe Enrico use to send some out? If you would like to receive info on the Los Angeles SketchCrawl group we have a facebook page for notifications and updates.

Re: Los Angeles, California [USA]
hmm may be it was Alina just sending them out, but yeah I am not on face book so I guess I will have to check the blog
Re: Los Angeles, California [USA]
I'll be there. I'm glad I marked my calendar, since all month I never got around to visiting the forum. I'm happy about the choice of locale. It's ben a long time since I've been to Descanso Gardens, so it'll be like new.
Se y'all there.
Se y'all there.

Re: Los Angeles, California [USA]
Our previous organizer Alina used to send out emails, and I used to send out emails for a few sketchcrawls after that - since it's a manual process, it's easy to let it slip
I wish there is an automatic way to send the notice - I suppose checking "Notify me when a reply is posted" option at bottom of this forum's message will do, as Virginia suggested.
See you tomorrow!
Shiho

I guess no one want to share their photo in public, must need some privacy !
