San Francisco, CA, USA [Results]
What a beautiful day out today! A bit windy but other than that, perfect.
Probably one of the smallest SF crawls I've experienced. I saw a bunch of sketchers in the morning but in the afternoon only a few came back. I'm guessing it was mainly because we didn't mention an
afternoon meeting point this time. Nevertheless it I had a great time sketching with my buddies.
Here are some of my pages.

Goro, Erwin and Milkgap
Fantastic sketches, I just love your different styles.
Milkgap.. I think I recognize the busker with the guitar. Could swear he had a spot some years back at the turn-around for the streetcars.
Sorry you did not get more sketchers out, maybe some were going solo.. we had similar situation here in Vancouver, Canada. In cities with so many artists, I was hoping more people would turn out. I guess there is lots of competition for people's time.
Goro.. would it be possible for you to indicate who is who in your sketchcrawlers drawing. I assume you are the guy one on the end with the jacket. Just curious.
Best wishes

Another good day out in the city. Here are some of my sketches. Riders on Bart, sketchers at Ghirardelli Square, downtown buildings, and a rider on the F line streetcar.
Old iron ship Propellers on the sand.
In the boathouse of the Dolphin Club.
the mighty prow of Balclutha, docked along the Hyde Street Pier. The Golden Gate bridge, barely visible, off to the left.
Five dollars at the Hyde Street Pier gets you a seven day pass to board and explore the historic ships. Though I only spent a little time on the actual ships this outing, I'll definitely be back. I do love ships and the sea. Good to see the few of us who got the word to meet back at the fountain at 5:00. I suppose there were a several such meetups at end of day. Plenty of good work from what I've seen so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing the results from the rest of you.

Small group but fantastic sketches!
I like your different styles and I'm very impressed by the incredible linework on the docked ancient ship.

a Wine Country Detour [Results]
I'm going to post here because I started out the day with the intention to get over to Ghirardelli Square but my plans crashed into other people's plans for the day which started out anyway at a service station having the car repaired. I couldn't go into the service area so I drew from my iPhone snapshot while they did the work.
Then, instead of driving into the city to draw with the rest, our house guest decided that we should go to the Wine country to sample some "Brut". That's the name given to sparkling wines in California since "Champagne" is only used for product from the region in France. I was elected sober driver and dedicated water drinker for the trip. First stop, they took a tram up to the tasting rooms at Stirling Winery in Calistoga and got samples of four different wines. I drew pick up trucks parked next to wine barrels at the entrance to the parking lot. Not such an inspiring choice but I had my reasons for staying below.
They came back all smily and cheerful so we went to Domaine Chandon in Yountville for the bubbly. I took a tiny taste of the first (and best) sparkling wine and enjoyed the company and the sunshine on their broad patio. I did this drawing of one of the servers from another iPhone snapshot because there was a surprising amount of crowding and jostling.
Our guest left in the evening and I started this drawing of a pair of huge lilies, a yellow rose and some spiky little thing that may or may not be related to cactus. Refreshing to finally get back to something that would hold still long enough for my sketchbook.
