Hi Everyone! Sketch Crawl 22 was a blast! Some familiar faces attended and we're very proud to have some new ones included into the group this time 'round. The response was for this year's KL Sketch Crawl was even better but just sorry many who wanted to participate, couldn't make it that day due to different circumstances.
We all sketched at KLCC Aquaria @ around 11 am'ish and rounded up the day @ almost 4pm. Some had to leave a little earlier due to hunger pangs. But it was overall an enjoyable though exhausting day for some of us and we look forward to the next gig!
Without further ado, here are our group's submission for the event. You can view all the photos at my Flickr site here...http://www.flickr.com/photos/81755819@N00/ which I will be linking all of it at the main Sketch Crawl site.

Irma & Hanie sketching a very prima donna iguana with a lil admirer by their side. Apparently our sketch group got a little awareness from the Aquaria people as well as a lot of curious onlookers there that day. The Aquaria staff were more than hospitable and accommodating to us and the visitors couldn't resist peeking at our sketch journals and chatting up to us about the event.
Us girls are mesmerized by an adorable baby sea turtle.
Huge blue cod.
*Drum roll* Sketches from each participants that day :
Mine :
Mr. Wong Pak Ting's (TGV Animation Studio) sketches :
Mel (our storyboard artist at 'Saladin') was the most prolific sketcher of the day. GO MEL! She, along with her husband,Joe, stayed at the Aquarium for the longest time taking in all the wonderful creatures while working hard on her sketches.
Yon Hui's (One Academy art student) sketches :
Don't ask me where he got that funny looking creature at center bottom from,I'm still trying to figure it out myself.
Aimee's (Animator from Inspidea) sketches :
More to come as soon as they have their sketches scanned and sent to me. Do check out some vids I was able to capture for the event that day.

Looks like you lot had a really fun day out! Great photos but absolutely fantastic sketches - seems there was a really talented bunch in KL this sketchcrawl! All these drawings have such wonderful gestures and such beautifully defined forms, I'm in awe. If you guys have got sites I'd love to see more of your work.

Re: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia [RESULTS]
Hey guys. I'm one of the sketchcrawlers in KL last April 11th...guilty of sending in my stuff late. Much apologies! Work has caught up and I get narcoleptic everytime I get the scanner running T__T
The sketchcrawl had been a blast despite the terrible flu I had on that day itself (everyone was sketching hard and I'm trying my darndesnt to NOT drip on my sketchbook). And my portable watercolour set chose to hide itself on the day itself, so no colour. Oh well. There' always next time. All these sketches are done in blue pencil, pencil and brush pen.
My very first sketch on that day was this bunch of sad blobs. Obviously I'm terribly rusty T___T
Thanks for viewing!
