I'm hoping that our host will set up a link to flickr, so all eight of us can put our work in one place, but for now here is a link to some of my sketches from Saturday's sketchcrawl in Cambridge, MA. It was my first sketchcrawl and I had a lot of fun, despite the cold, rainy day we had. I'm amazed at all the beautiful work people have posted in other locations thus far.

Nice sketches! It was my first SketchCrawl too, and it was cold and rainy also. But I had fun, and the time passed quickly.

Re: Cambridge, MA [RESULTS]
Trying out posting pictures/text here rather than using the link to my blog:
I took the plunge and joined up with some folks today to participate in the 22nd International Sketchcrawl.
Our group in Massachusetts met up at noon at the Middle East Restaurant in Central Square. Cambridge. Despite my initial anxiety, I made it there by twelve-thirty and walked in to find five people drawing at the bar, and three more guys over in a booth by the wall across from the bar.
Took a while to warm up, but I started out drawn (no pun intended) to a large figurine on top of the bar. As we would discover later, everyone drew the pig.
Next it was on to real people. Here are sketches of Chris and his girlfriend Sara, who were seated at the bar. I sat across from them in one of the booths:
We stayed for two and half hours before heading to the next stop~ The Field , which is an Irish pub on Prospect Street. After getting to see what other folks were doing, I decided to move to watercolors.
The first was a sketch of Ellen. I loved her hair (lots of ringlets).
next was her friend joppa:
Here is Dave, our host.
I'm hoping he will still eventually organize the photos from the day and show everyone else's work. He's been tied up apparently since the sketchcrawl.

Great portraits! I also love warm up pig very much.
Cambridge, MA [RESULTS from Host]
To the group, thanks for your patience with my delay in posting our work. In retrospect, perhaps Flickr would be more efficient than manually formatting images. With the exception of Yours Truly, this group had the total package of talent, work ethic, point-of-view and wit. Don't take my word for it:
