For November 4th, we (my wife and I) and anybody else interested is invited to plan/consider joining us in Healdsburg.
Time: 11am to 3pm
Duration: about 4 hrs
The idea is to stay around the downtown plaza and possibly walk by some historical houses/buildings. That should give us a mix subjects.
Apparently there is a hand fan museum in the Hotel Healdsburg for those interested in that.
While doing research I found out that Downtown Plaza has wifi - see link.
Healdsburg WiFi Info
Healdsburg is located about 15.5miles North of Santa Rosa on Hwy 101 and about 68 miles away from San Francisco.
It doesn't appear that there is a conflicting event at the plaza, but there are other events occurring in other places for those interesting in visiting the area for the weekend.
Healdsburg Calendar of Events
Please post below if you think you can make it and/or are considering this location.
(edit: modified start date from 10am to 11am)

Meeting place: Healdsburg Plaza Gazebo
Location of public bathrooms and meeting place.
Below is the map where all the historical buildings are located.
#12 is the plaza/meeting place.
Below are some pictures we took last Sunday.
Parking limit around the plaza is three hours including Sundays. There is additional parking behind the Healdsburg Hotel (not sure if there is a time limit) and there is also parking by the safeway store (shopping center).

Great North Bay location
Yeh! I'm happy to see your post for the North Bay and look forward to coming up from San Anselmo to join you.
Glad to know fuzzmum.
I will try to make some photocopies of the self guided architectural tour just in case the Museum doesn't have any or they run out. Apparently they also sell a little book for less than $8 (I believe) that contains more information (they were out of them when I last visited).
looks like the webcam is working now, aims right at the meeting place.

We will sketch from 11:00a to 3:00p, either together or separately, really up to you.
We will meet again around 3:00p to share sketchbooks. No obligation to share if you dont want to, but would be nice as we can all learn from each other.
We will figure out the afternoon meeting location at the beginning of the Sketchcrawl. If you think you may be arriving late send me a PM and I'll reply with my cellphone #
Thanks

Hey
I have been on the Every Day Matters yahoo group for a couple of months now and keep reading about SketchCrawls in SF and Berkeley, but had no idea we had them up in our neck of the woods. I hope by registering for this forum that I will now receive emails about such. Sorry to have missed the Healdsburg one.

Greetings!
Sorry for the delay in response, been busy.
The best way to be notified is to sign up for the newsletter or check the home page/forums every so often to see when the next SC is going to be.
In regards to locations, anybody is welcome to create a group and choose a location. I just happen to live overhere and recently became involved in the process, so it just seems logical to try to get others involved locally (when not able to attend the SF ones).
Welcome!
