This morning we arrived one by one at "Amerlingbeisl", a nice café in a revitalized Biedermeier district near the MuseumsQuartier. Very glad to be in a warm place (outside temperature -7°C / 19.4°F) we ordered pastries and coffee or one of those delicious variations of breakfast (continental, vegetarian, mediterranean, ...) you can get there.
I was a bit in a hurry this time, because I wanted to spend some time with our new doggie we got the previous day. So I left the group earlier as usual and Fanda was so kind to take some photos.
The idyllic cobblestoned courtyard of Amerlingbeisl which is covered by Boston or Japanese ivy is an ideal place in the city to rest on a hot summer day. Maybe we will meet there for a sketchcrawl in June or July.

Cool lamps look like eggs!
The color/lighting on your egg cup is warm and dramatic, M9fred. Ich mag!
Sara would love the chocolate cake.
Congratulations on your new dog Amy.

Thank you for your motivating comment.
We can visit this café on your next visit to Vienna. Spittelberg (the name of this picturesque quarter) is immediate vicinity of MuseumsQuartier and certainly worth a visit.
