SPOKANE, WA - HILLYARD DISTRICT

Spokane Sketchers will being visiting the Hillyard District which was stablished in 1892 as a town North of Spokane WA USA. The town later became a part of the city as a center of railroad shipping. My great uncle came to a bank there after WW1 to find work after traveling from Texas via Montana.

We will be sketching the building facades and inside the many Antique stores that occupy the Main Street. It is still below 50 degrees at noon here, so we may start by sketching inside.
