All of these sketches were done with Gouache/Watercolor on a Moleskin Watercolor sketchbook. Not the best time of the year to be out sketching, as it was in the high 40's low 50's, but fun was had by all.

Wow, these are wonderful. You can almost feel the chill in the air from your paintings.

ZupZup: I could tell from the drawings that you must be a guy. Very masculine style and use of colors. I feel a sense of loneliness from your paintings.

Wow, ZupZup...I remain a big fan of your work. These latest paintings are terrific! The color palette really does invoke feelings of temperature and season. ::sigh:: Just gorgeous.

Thank you everyone for the comments.....I didn't know my paintings said so much, but I'm glad you all enjoyed them. Hopefully later today or tomorrow I will be able to post up the work from the other couple of people that participated.

ZUPZUP, these are absolutely great... water above, water in front, water on paper - for you all works in harmony.
We had the same ^@*&%! weather here, but this landscapes excells in their nature beauty, and in paper also.

Here are a couple of sketches done by Jennifer who also crawled around with a pencil. Both of these are pencil on Moleskin.

Zup Zup- Wow! What wonderful paintings, especially since they were done in such cold weather! I can almost feel the temperature drop just looking at them.

Jennifer- Love the textures on the pine tree.
