Beside an overall composition, I was intrigued by the analogy of naked tree (left) and iron rods on the right.

Drawn on spot, colored at home (my hands were way too busy holding an umbrella, paper, pen... with some
extra bags for camera and tools) - for every work I will tell if it has been finished later. Truth will set us free?

Some old grinded-coffee store, looks like one of those funny small police station from cartoons. Home colored.

I've sketched holding an umbrella with one hand and a pencil in the other and all the time hoping that my sketchbook did not slip off my knee - you have my sympathies!

You're right about the tree and the iron rods - very intriguing and most incongruous.

This was like some game "Last Man Standing (while sketching)"... just couldn't kneel at any moment for 6h

I love the addition of the background on that last one. It really brings out the negative space. I like how you pushed the drawing to the edges ... it places an emphasis upon the composition, and not just the object. It treats the sketch as a piece, not just a doodle.

Great stuff!

Attractive stuff

mr.sch

you managed to see lots of interesting stuff in an otherwise grey day.

I totally enjoy the drawings.

Love the shaky line quality.

Thanks!!

@Jeff
Thanks, it turned out quite nice, I must admit. You are right, I love to treat sketches as my favorite pets... {"
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of ..." oops, wrong line :wink:
@GINKO
That one is the "shakest" one, becouse I had to look upward, avoiding rain and sketching at the same time.
There are more sketches coming... :arrow:

On its rainy-doggy-weather, this one choose to sleep over it. Well, I couldn't blame it for living up my dream.

Done on spot

Thanks, Pica. I really doubt that dog shares our interest and passion for sketching :lol:

@GINKO
*Bark, bark* (yes, I agree) :lol:

At local market, nearby that sleeping dog. Initial sketch done on spot (left) and later colored in PS (right) :roll:
