Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS] Sorry T Florida is late!
Hi M9fred!
Thanks for getting your drawings posted so soon!
Inspiring!
Amy looks sweet,
How about Tony? Shy?
Your bird reminds me of your avatar-- and your bird on a wire drawing from January (?)
I heard 2 owls conversing last night.
I have coffee envy!
Did Elfi make yours?
Did I tell you I inherited an expresso maker?
I am rationing my Italian expresso because I shouldn't go to the grocery store.
The dolphins remind me of Florida. We are not allowed to go to the beach (it is only 5 miles away!)
Have you tried to draw your sculpture from Leichtenstein yet?
The caterpillar eating jewels is symbolic of Corona Virus times.
I have had a lot of work since the lock down, I'll tell you about it in email.
Thanks for your photos and the links you sent.
I'll post our April 18 sketches soon!...promise!) Sorry
it's taking me so long!
Our local crawl was popular--at least those are posted.
Mark

Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]
Dear Manfred and John,
We will just post WWSC 68 here on the 67th page
Until Administrators/Moderators update the calendar
and create a page for TODAY July 25th, 2020: WWSC 68:
I understand a lot is going on, but
we need to stay connected more than ever and SKETCHCRAWL is a great way to do this!
Thanks for caring.

Hi Mark!
Thank you for your efforts to keep Sketchcrawling alive!
I took a look at the forum almost every day but till today there is no date for WWSC 68.
So I discussed the matter by phone with Vienna sketchcrawlers a few days ago and we agreed on Sunday July 26th, 2020 for WWSC 68.
I hope the site will be up and running because on Friday it wasn't accessible.
Manfred

Thanks M9fred!
I appreciate you staying in touch and checking.
Sara and I plus our artist friends are all doing OK,
but Florida generally is not good about CV.

Vienna, Austria [RESULTS] 68th WWSC July 26
Vienna, Austria [RESULTS] 68th WWSC July 26
Because there was no official date announced Vienna sketchcrawlers agreed on Sunday July 26th, 2020 for WWSC 68.
COVID changed a lot and so we stayed at home for this sketchcrawl.
John spotted a colorful butterfly, Arco Iris gave some special paint markers a try and I sketched my dogs in the dog park (added details at home) and two black and white cats in neighborhood.
John
John sketched a beautiful butterfly.
Arco Iris
Arco Iris used POSCA paint markers on A4 size paper (8 1⁄4 × 11 17⁄24 inch)
Sunnyside up eggs and vegan bacon out of rice paper.
Dog and cat (top left) taking a nap.
m9fred
In the morning our dogs had fun in the dog park.
We went home before it got too hot.
Posing is boring
Amy among the shades.
Tony gnawing at a stick.
Looking out of my windows I sketched two cats in the afternoon.
Cat on the roof of a tool shed.
Another cat keeping an eye on the swallows in the sky.
Sabine
Sabine, a girlfriend of Arco Iris sketched some toys with the aid of her son.
Toys, oil pastels and colored pencils on A4 size paper (8 1⁄4 × 11 17⁄24 inch)

Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]
These are GREAT sketches!
Wow. I love the expression on your Amy and Tony animal sketches M9fred! And your angle on the cats.....Did they see you before you saw them?
That was the case with these large lizards today: I was sketching leaves and felt eyes on me...2 Knight Anoles (escaped from Cuba!)
And John, you got the colors perfectly on your butterfly.
So nice to see your new art Arco Iris. Breakfast Eggs remind me of an Owl! haha
Really, I think you found "your media": Very graphic and bright.

Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]
Did Amy dig those holes?
Tony gnawing on the stick with great purpose.
Does Tony have a new harness? Ace has a new one...plain yellow.
The cat in the window in your drawing looks like he wishes he can draw with you.

Re: Vienna, Austria [RESULTS WWSC 67 & 68]
Hi Mark, thank you for your inspiring comments!
No, Amy didn't dig these holes.
This place isn't one of her preferred spots which she thoroughly examines every time we visit the dog park. She digs very little, only a few scratching moves and then she focuses all her senses to smell or hear any evidence of mice or other small animals.
It's not a brand new harness you can see on the photos of Tony. Elfi insisted to use a pretty one on Sunday (and for sketchcrawl ). It's bright green with black stars.
Amy has a blue one with black pawprints on it.
The cats are quite different. The one on the roof lives here with a young couple (they take care of the little garden) since spring-time. This cat looks up to me only incidentially or if I call here attention by a gentle whistle.
On the contrary the cat in the window. She spends some hours a day in the window and there is nothing which will escape her attention. As soon as I open a window she will watch me particularly if she spots something unusual like a camera or a sketchbook.
