Great Thanks to Millstone Plantation Director Majken Peterzen for opening this venue (free to sketchcrawlers) and for her hospitality and thorough planning!
Fancy artists' signs led us down the red clay road to the lake and cool boathouse where wild geese were nesting nearby.
Rolling pasture hills were dotted with some of North Florida's most magnificent Live Oak trees as well as free range llamas, goats and sheep.
A dinner bell called us to excellent healthy lunches prepared in the 1840's plantation house kitchen thanks to Joan and Majken and her friend.
A full day of sketching in perfect Spring weather!
We enjoyed the warmth and glowing light of the bonfire at dusk which created the perfect atmosphere for the dramatic readings from Southern Epitaphs by Author Charles Conaway. The creative presentations by these talented voice actors topped off this great 12-hour Art marathon.
I'll add more images as they are emailed to me...

Wow...you've spent a perfect day in a beautiful paradise with a warm greeting of angels!
I can imagine how beautiful the place would be with sketchers scattered here and there.
All the drawings add much lovely feelings to that plantation.
I can read your smile in your '"Smiley"Llama.

Marvelous drawings from all of you! What a wonderful place for a sketchcrawl!
I like your vivid Lama sketches, Mark. And the paintings of sheeps by Debi Kistler are very appealing to me.
@Mark: Sorry for posting the results from Vienna so late, I had a very busy week.
Liebe Grüße aus Wien!
Manfred

Hi M9fred,
Thanks for your comments!
You never need to apologize for late postings. It makes it fun to have a reason to keep checking the Sketchcrawl website. In fact, here are some late postings from us of images that came in much later...some people couldn't make it to WWSC 51, so we had a mini-crawl at an alternate location...
Sketchcrawl at the 20th annual Quincy Fest in historic Downtown Quincy, Florida
Festival Tents
by Mark Fletcher
More than a dozen artists checked in with me during our Sketchcrawl Saturday at Quincy Fest, and others afterwards:
Great Thanks to Gadsden Arts Center Director Grace Robinson and GAC's professional staff and volunteers for their hospitality. We especially want to thank you for opening the cool and quiet meeting room to sketchcrawlers and for accomodating another exhibit of our art. This was a great opportunity to see the art center's' expansion/renovation in progress as well as the other excellentt exhibits we can count on at GAC.

Congratulations, Gadsden Arts Center for receiving top scores and American Art Museum Accredited Status!

Special thanks to Joe Munroe and Dawn McMillan of Quincy Mainstreet for planning a very successful festival!

We had a terrific time sketching the historical architecture, interesting people, and lively musical bands, as well as fantastic trees and gardens.

Re: Tallahassee, Florida, USA [RESULTS] updated: still more artists
Your page is prolific with various kinds of great sketches.
You selected the best spot for sketching where you all could rest and enjoy all the peaceful scenery with strolling sheeps. I was caught by the drawings of Jeff Zenick with different style of dotting. All the length are different, which goes smaller perspectively. He might have intended to express some meaning by the sizes of short lines. The Llama of Bill looks very philosophical. He looks at the viewer seriously saying "Are you a real sketcher?"
Your drawing series of Houses looks wonderful, Mark. Body colored papers add excellent taste of solid and old buildings. I enjoyed all the people and musician drawings thinking the difficulty for the figures used to move incessantly. The watercolor work of Natalia Andreeva with strong contrast between big tree and warm light on the ground is very beautiful. And the standing and seated people makes me stay for long.
Thanks a lot for sharing all these wonderful works and inviting us to the festival of sketching!
