Malgré le week-end de Pâques, les vacances scolaires et tout, on était autour de 35 personnes à la Cité des sciences, La Villette, hier pour ce 43e Worldwide SketchCrawl à Paris.
Il a fait assez frais, donc la plupart des sketchers sont restés à l'intérieure, explorant la vaste espace avec ses plusieurs halls et expos. Une bonne bande était là à 10:00 pile, et d'autres sont arrivés toute la journée. Certains étaient toujours au bar quand je les ai quitté à 19h, c'était une journée pleine des rencontres, des dessins et de bonne humeur pour tous.
Entre les robots et la Géode avec ses reflets, les labyrinthes des tuyaux qui rappelaient aux Centre Pompidou, les escalators et des mezzanines avec leurs vues plongeants il y a eu de quoi a dessiner. Le temps s'est passé finalement très vite !

So, we were about 35 sketchers at the Cité des sciences at the parc de La Villette yesterday for the 43rd Worldwide SketchCrawl.
It was pretty chilly out, so most people stayed indoors, exploring the vast space with its several exhibition halls or sketching from the windows.
La Géode was a pretty popular subject with its fascinating reflections. Also the super-complicated architecture with its pipes going everywhere, escalators and mezzanines, that is reminiscent of the Pompidou Centre. The "Art Robotique" show had some fun pieces, including the "Totemobile" -- a robotic sculpture that starts off looking like a Citroën car, then unfolds into an 18-meter tall totem pole.
All-in-all it was a great day, quite a few new faces, and always good to see so many familiar people as well.

Comme j'aurais aime venir! Mais j'etais au Japon et ai participe a la session de Tokyo, dans le quartier de Asakusa.
