A stunning spring day in Inglewood, a small town inland from New Plymouth. Inglewood was celebrating the 100th Centenary of its Band Rotunda. Naturally the band played. People turned up in period costume and vintage cars of all flavours parked up.
Inglewood sits under the mountain - Mt Egmont/Taranaki - our symmetrical dormant volcano - currently still white from winter snow

I hate autos but when I see that, I could come to hate them a little less...
Those are amazing drawings!

I love all the pictures. That was great that a local event like that coincided with the sketchcrawl.

Great sketches by everyone...I especially like the ones of the vintage cars! Thanks for sharing your day.

Thanks Liz, Kiwibear, JoanT, merci beacoup Marie Agnes, Elfine for your encouragement,
It is great to have coincidental occasions to report. Another year was Republic Day at Whangamomona (only celebrated every two years) and you have to buy a passport to enter.
Some of us have a weakness for sketching cars & planes. Not everyone's cup of tea.
Weather was kind - and encouraging.
