Re: Tokyo,Japan [Results]
Hello everyone, I just joined SketchCrawl, this is my first posting. it was so nice to meet all the sketchers who never met before, fascinated by each sketcher's style, I enjoyed it a lot.
Here is my vision of Nezu shrine:
SketchCrawl_Apr212012_01 by Eriko Kobayashi, on Flickr
it gave me a good opportunity to my first visit to the shrine. I was amazed at these gorgeous architectures were built in the Edo Period, and no wonder these are nationally Important Cultural Properties.

in the shrine, you will find a variety of food stalls. Brilliant color of those tents caught my eye... and attractive smells of food...!

線の太い細いを少し距離を考えて部分的に使い分けると風景の最後の2枚はもっとよくなる。

Takeru:Thanks for posting them and the photos.Good information.Great sketches as always.

Shaolin7:I regard the following opportunity to sketch together with you as impatient.

Tetsu, great compositions! Kumi, I always enjoy seeing your watercolours, it's a nice surprise to see your line drawing of Tetsu, you are very versatile. Miyako, very delicate touch. Natsumi, your people drawings are full of life! Becco, I love the pose of the man bent over readiing in the first drawing, he looks very concentrated.Tasha Voit, wow amazing watercolour, makes me wish I could paint! T-Nora, nice contrast between trees and building in the second sketch. Maki, great sketches of the stores. Naomi, great sketch of the Nezu shrine. Takeru, great pencil work, they have a great atmosphere to them. Eriko, very nice sketches. Remi, the Nezu Shrine looks impressive.
Well done everyone.

"Stenope" drawing 001. Stenope means a particular method of drawing, croquis without looking at your sketchbook.
