Washington, DC [RESULTS]

Our plan in D.C. was to explore the Navy Yards and waterfront area, and sketch the Nationals in action at the ballpark. We didn't coordinate all that well, though, and I didn't manage to find the other sketchers, but that didn't stop me from going to the ball game:




I tried to get some quick sketches of the players as well:



I didn't think to bring sunscreen, so by the end of the day my forearms were a lovely Nationals Red. But at least they won, by a sacrifice in the 10th inning.

After the game, I walked along the river walk to the Navy Yard:



It is interesting to see how that neighborhood is coming along, and the new development along the Anacostia River.
