A Sad Attempt from Minneapolis

Post by mugmoni »

Well. I had every intention fo sketching the day away on Sunday, I failed. :(

Here are the few sketches I managed to produce from around the small area surrounding my house. The combination of an injured husband and two great danes proved to be too much of a distraction for my tiny brain. Better concentration next time, hopefullly.

Painting supplies

More Supplies...

Pumpkins from my garden.....holy hannah did I have the pumpkins. O.O And from one tiny plant.....who knew?

Part of Eva the great dane....a.k.a. The Queen of all she surveys.
(not excluding... my couch...my bed....my dinner...O.o)

That's all, a sad showing to be sure. But hopefully, the great mind who came up with this idea...*nods to enrico* will give us the honor another day. ^^

Well, I for one think your pictures are awesome. :) And though the official annual day for sketchcrawling might be over, I don't think that such a great idea (sketchcrawling) should be limited to one day a year. I'm sure that Mr. Casarosa would say the same. ^^

zironu: Thanks. ^^ As we don't have to go out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday, I fully intend on making this weekend a painting/sketching weekend. Maybe next week I'll really be able to post something. ^^

littlefish: Thanks. ^^

Even though you didn't get out, I still think you got some good stuff done! I was mostly indoors too, from the weather.

And I like your pumpkins. Off on a tangent, we got minature white pumpkins here, entirely by accident. We threw an old tiny white one from last year into the compost and it grew. Left it alone, and we got a couple white ones for this autumn. I seem to garden better using the benign niglect method. ;)

That shouldn't be too difficult, they can be found at all times either on the bed, couch or floor... sleeping. ^^
