Three of us met at St Giles, in Old Town Edinburgh. Our sketching there was concluded with a short but colorful military parade. We pushed on to The Elephant House Cafe for lunch. The cafe has a bulletin board of elephant sketches by patrons and we left our contribution. From there we headed to Calton Hill, Edinburgh's Acropolis, which has spectacular monuments and views of the city.

Re: Edinburgh [Results]
Nice results in Edinburgh, I have a preference for the last one who reminds me the gold century (1750-1850) of watercolor travelers !

Hi Doug, yours really are great sketches, thanks for putting them up. I haven't quite figured out how to post my sketches though, more difficult than I thought. I really enjoyed the Saturday with you guys and I hope I meet some more sketchers in the future. K

Great job on these sketches. I love the one of the buildings along the street.
