Re: San Francisco, CA
How about we vote? The 16th is coming up soon.I'm for GG Park.
Re: San Francisco, CA
Sorry to say that I won't be able to make it to the crawl this time. I'll be exhibiting at APE, table #539! If any of you are at APE, feel free to come check out my stuff. I hope to make it to the next Sketchcrawl, and I'm thinking of compiling a book of my sketches for sale at WonderCon in the spring. Any other crawlers exhibiting at APE? I'd love to check out your work as well.

Re: San Francisco, CA
So have we established that its APE or not? I'm confused!!!
Re: San Francisco, CA
Ok, sorry I am getting on this a little late ... Yes, Ape takes place the 16th and 17th.
Personally I'd prefer go to APE on sunday and take my time ... and draw on the sketchcrawl, would be a little hard to draw at APE.
But I could see that a quick visit to the con on saturday could be fun too.
Here's a possibility, on the 16th there's also these public dance performances happening http://www.epiphanydance.org/
They are free and happen around the N-Juda. The first spot they perform is DUBOCE PARK at 11.
What if we started at the Duboce Park Cafe' at 10am? http://www.doloresparkcafe.org/ Map http://tinyurl.com/2gyc666
Check the performance at 11 in the Park ...
Then make our way to Market and down toward Hayes Valley (Blue Bottle Coffee is a must-stopOver) from there we can also go to Civic Center (since some people mentioned it)
and then people could still walk to APE if so inclined
What do you say?
Here's the possible itinerary .... using MapMyRun ...
http://beta.mapmyrun.com/route/detail/2 ... ive_done=1
Bit of a walk if one wants to make it all the way to APE ...
OR second option, we could also do the sketchcrawl mostly in SOMA, to make it easier on who wants to go to APE ...
it certainly would be a more gritty side of SF... highways passing overhead, old warehouse buildings side by side with brand new lofts ...
Around the concourse, tradersJoe and such ...
Maybe it's worth putting it to votes ...
How do you make a poll on this thing? I can't seem to find it in the options ...

Hi Enrico,
re: Poll
You need to edit the very first post for this topic (the one created by DerekSmith) there is a tab for poll creation there.

Oh yeah, totally, if that first post needs to be edited, deleted, a poll put up whatever... we're getting low on time to decide! I quite like Enrico's thoughts of Duboce Park towards CC...

Ok Thanks Gus and Derek. The poll is set, please vote SF crawlers! Let's see we should call the poll done by Wednesday night!
We'll see which option has more votes then! Cool?
Cheers

Re: San Francisco, CA
Thanks for the great ideas. By the time I can get down there, I'm going to head to Civic Center near City Hall. Lots of buildings and people watching!
Re: San Francisco, CA
I'll be there...wherever there is.
Re: San Francisco, CA
Hi everyone, i'll be there with a bunch of friends (they should register on the forum soon), Duboce Park as rendez vous sounds good, but anything's good for me. let's see what shall be decided eventually

For those that might not know, 2010 trolley dances will be happening on the N Judah at Duboce Park on Saturday from 11:45 - 2pm. Should make for some fun drawing.

See you Saturday,
