Aloha, everybody!
Here are pictures from the event. I couldn't get them to a smaller size from facebook. In the meantime, enjoy!
John & Min with one of the painters checking out Mark Brown's oil painting:
Min passing out the limited edition sketchbooks while John kept sketching:
Here are what the limited edition Sketchcrawl sketchbooks looked like.
Someone who was sketching ME!
. . . and here is the outline.
A Sketcher from Sketchcrawl #27.
Nancy from Sketchcrawl #28.
Hank from Sketchcrawl #28.
Gerri from Sketchcrawl #23.
. . . and her friend, Pauline.
Joan from Sketchcrawl #28.
Jimmy T.
Mark passing out sketchbooks and pencils.
JimmyT & Hank.
Steven from Sketchcrawl #27 with his daughter & sketchcrawl sketchbook in hand.
This fine young gentleman sketched a wedding party taking pictures on the bridge in our area.
Some other sketches:
Sally, Nancy & Hank.
More sketches.
Another Sketchcrawler!
Joan set up to draw.
Mark Brown's painting at about 9:30 am . . .
. . . then at 11:50 am . . .
. . . then again around 1:20 pm.
Min saw this person (Mike) doing some nice sketching.
Mike sharing his sketches with Min & John.
Remember the mini watercolor kits from Sketchcrawl #27? The case is a metal mint container. When you open it up. . . .
. . .The colors in the bottom sit in a used plastic card that had gum squares. The plastic mixing tray was a piece of scrap
plastic. Attach magnetic strips under the tray & the colors and there you have it--a mini paint kit!
Slush Puppies!
