Hi Guys,first post here
thanks to Tom for directions to the forum:)
We could focus on a place full of people(Camden?regent?) or one with nice industrial architecture(Bricklane?)
Just my 2 cents, anyway everyplace will come up with will be fine for me as i haven't wandered around London as much as i wanted

Greetings, I am in too.

I think borough market would be an interesting place for drawing scenery.Thereś a lot of stall sell goods and colourful vegetables. And then we can go to southbank for figure drawing.

Hi Guys,
I think that Borough Market should be a good idea..and we can have all-in-one (good place, good food, interesting place..) and also it's not far away from everythings (London Bridge stations near).
Who like that place?

Sketch with you soon !

Hi

My name is Lee and I would like to help organise this event. First off what day are you planning to arrange it and at what time? Is it for this Saturday? If so I'll be available from 14.00. I think Borough market is a good idea. I organise a drawing group with my friends every other Saturday in London on Meetup.com and would like to post it on my site, if you could send me the details of the event you're organising I'll do this. Heres the link to the site: http://www.meetup.com/Drawing-London-on-Location/. I think Borough market is a good location, I've drawn here before, though it can get very busy. I would like to suggest a route for this crawl - which is to start at London bridge station, go to Borough market and then move down the south bank past the Tate modern, past St Pauls, Shakespeares globe and the NFT up to the Royal Festival hall. After which we could then cross waterloo bridge and head for trafalgar square. A little bit of a stretch, but I it can be done, I've walked it many times before. I don't think we should meet in London bridge station as there are many entrances and it will be confusing. I think a better place would be to meet in front of the Barrow Boy and Banker a pub on the other side of the bridge to the station next to the entrance of Borough market. This pub is quite big and is a good land mark to meet by. Here it is on google maps: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=b ... 08256&z=18.

Nice!

Sorry, I wrote it in my last post that I won't be around until 14.00. Unfortuntely I have a few things to attend to in the morning. However after that I should be around. I just wanted to confirm is this happening actually happening tomorrow? Also would someone be able to leave me a contact so I can catch the group later.

Cheers,

lee.
