I really enjoyed meeting many of you and seeing your amazing work. This was my first SketchCrawl, and I had a fantastic time - can't wait until the next.

This was my first sketchcrawl! What a blast! My favorite part was the end where we all met up and swapped sketchbooks. Pretty cool! PLUS, I learned from Goro Fujitsu all about Brushes, a painting program for your iphone. It sounds more fluid than colors for the DS.

I only did one sketch over by Chrissy Field. I used limited gouache color + pro white: ult blue, yellow ochre, and paynes gray. Why that mix? Because I guess it's what Eric Tiemens uses, so I thought I'd try it out and see how those colors work together.

Hurray! Great sketches here. Marc! Those sketches came out fantastic! Nice brush work. What a fantastic Saturday! Very nice outside. Great to hang out with you guys.

Great weather again. My buddy Justin and I sketched on Haight St. Here's a sleeping man and his snapple, and a double exposure of the buildings across the way. We left some money in one of his bags for his trouble.


The hippy fiddler was accompanied by her boyfriend on guitar. Justin is sketching them on the upper left. Plastic toys from the shop Giant Robot on the upper right. Scenes from the restaurant Zona Rosa on the lower left.


The bird was stuffed and mounted on the wall upstairs in a clothing/flower shop.

Hi all! I'm new here- my first time out, it was really fun- I went to the mission district and hit a few cafes with nick- My goal was to draw a lot more men since I tend to draw woman a lot. Maybe I will post some photos I took while there too.
Wish I could have come to the final gathering, but I had to withdraw at 4. nice to wake up early and sketch crawl though!
