Nora - Sweden [RESULTS]
Nora - Sweden [RESULTS]
Here are the results from our day with +4 degrees Celsius. A few hours of sunshine and later on the rain came but then we decided to enter a chocolate café. It was a bit too cold to be outdoors for an activity like this but we managed to sketch something anyway.
Photos are added after all the sketches.
We started at a café, planning where to start, then we started sketching in an area and then moved on to the next one. After the cold got too intense we moved indoors to a chocolate café that recently opened where we enjoyed some hot cocoa. After all the sketching we went to Christinas' place and had a nice dinner together!
A wonderful day and great knowing lots of other countries participated on the same day with us!
Enjoy!

I will have to comment on your individual images in 12hrs or so yeah this sleepy head needs to go to sleep.
However, I wanted to say this:
WOW, Awesome post... Thank you so much for posting all your sketches, and all the pictures.. you have removed me from my room and transported me to Sweden.
Thank you again!

Peter Pen - Thanks, we REALLY enjoyed the day even if it was very, very cold. I think most of us will be around the next crawl. I look forward to it allready. We where very happy to have Anne with both sketchbook and camera with us yesterday.
anthonyf - thanks anthonyf
donnam - Thanks donnam! It's allright with winter, but not for sketching though
PaintMonster - "Arigato gosaimazu" for taking your time commentate all the swedish sketchcrawlers! That was really nice of you.
You are most welcome to join us the next crawl and what about the swedish food? The main course was actually japanese steamed dumlings "Shumai" which I have learned to make by an japanese artist living in Sweden. Maybee you see the bamboo baskets if you look closely?
pete - Thanks a lot!
seeker - Thanks, and I understand that you need some sleep, believe me.
shawn - Thanks a lot! Yes, the train station is really something else

Wowee Zowee, Sweden!
Wow! This is the BEST sketchcrawl results post ever! Boy you folks really have it together. What a great presentation. I really enjoyed the sketches, and then the photos afterwards -- incredible! I am so envious of your post-crawl dinner party! We were in San Francisco - we thought it was cold there! You guys are troopers.

Wow, tough crawlers to sketch in such a cold weather! It's nice to see everyone's different touch on the paper. And by the way, I just made a daydream on that train.

I was one of them! I love my Lamy pens, they are smooth and soft, yet firm. They come with a Medium nib but you can choose the one you prefer when you order. Or at least it was that way when I ordered mine from the Swedish webshop. I use a Fine and an Extra fine nib.donnam wrote:Who was using that Lamy Safari pen? How do you like it to sketch with? Is the line width nice and narrow?
I used to sketch with Staedtler or Micron pens, 0.05 and so on-"nibs". But now I don't want to go back to them. Not for sketching anyway.
Highly recommended pens!
