At the book cafe we shared drawings.

The weather was good. Seoul is a lucky city maybe for the Han River. But it's not common to see it from good location. The Haneul Park(9F) of the Techno Mart, Gangbyeon Branch may be one of the best observatory with its good scenery. Beside the nice view on 9F rooftop it presents wonderful cityscape through big pane glasses along the corridor of CGV floor on 10F where visitors can read books with beverage while waiting for the movies. We enjoyed sketching there too. I'd like to visit there from time to time on hot or cold days. Thank you all!

Very fun to see your work! I took a different approach this time and went to the top of a building to sketch while looking down. A coincidence to see your sketches with a similar view. I really like your use of watercolor, it brings out the shapes and the atmosphere of the place. Great to see!

Hello Seoul,

As usual, lovely sketches  ; particularly this one made from roof top, 9F.
We can see a person from the back, leaning against the banister.
Some, would tell you that there is a fault... I prefer to see this person like just à "brief" "shadow"; a "walking shadow" (thank to you William).

Now, there. And then, soon, gone.

Everyone can see everything in some lines and colours!

Once again; Thank you.

Hi BH & friends:
So far I liked your scene from observatory steps best. A fresh perspective with bright contrasts!

I just now posted a few images. I only have image from one other participant so far.

I still expect more images from participants.

Hi BH and friends of Seoul

Thank you for your encouragement.
We were proud to show some pieces of our heritage in Montluel,
little town near Lyon in France.

I look very often and i admire every time your sketches.
Everyone has its graphics like its own signature.

Thank you for your enthusiasm
Claude

Hi BH
Thank you for checking our updated page again.

Robert and I spent so long watching and following that snake, but it didn't stay still and mostly was hiding in the shade. Robert was so patient to get a photo of it in the sun, so I posted it more than once.

We rarely see this "Water moccasin" (also called "Cottonmouth") species. It is venomous, but shy. This was a juvenile snake only about a half meter long.

Thank you for your comments!
