Houston urban sketchers will be meeting up at the Menil Museum for a sketchout on the 27th. Details of time and meeting spot to follow.
DETAILS for the Upcoming Crawl in HOUSTON, TEXAS
Saturday Jan. 27 sketch crawl. Meet at the Menil at 11 a.m.
Good weather: meet outside to the right of the front door, sketch inside until 12:30 and meet again outside same spot.
Bad weather: meet inside near the back door, so as not to block entry area, meet there again at 12:30. From there we go to grab a bite to eat, (and keep drawing) or walk to the Rothko Chapel or Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum and sketch until 3. This time of year the weather is pretty unpredictable. Current forecast is for rain. Throw a snack in your bag incase the weather is too yucky for moving locations, and we'll spend the day at the Menil.
