A samedi !

We have reserved the room upstairs. Each person must order a main course: salad, burger, dish of the day, etc... around 13-15€.

Around 4:30-5:00pm, we will end up at Zango, 15 rue du Cygne, to look over our works from the day and continue to draw if you wish to.

It was a splendid afternoon at Les Halles last Saturday!

For the fall season, the weather could not have been better: a little chilly, but mostly sunny. And no rain!

I had a good time taking in the area amidst the ever present crowds. The turnout was fabulous: sketchers, many new and some already familiar to me, were scattered all over the place, from spots beneath the Canopée to others around it. There must have been about 40-50 of us, if not more.

It was a personal joy to be able to draw some of the sights that either have fascinated me (la Canopée, le Bourse de commerce) or have been memorable during my life in Paris (the sculpture "Ecoute" de Henri de Miller). If I had more time, I would also have added Eglise Saint-Eustache to that list, but let's save that for next time!

Thanks Agnès and Blandine for organizing, and all the sketchers who participated, including those visiting Paris from far away!
