Summertime in Central Wisconsin and the North Woods - SKETCHCRAWL.
Let's do get out and sketch, joining the 52nd World Wide SketchCrawl on Saturday, July 30th.
9:00 a.m. Starting in the Stevens Point Downtown Public Square on Main Street. Rain or Shine :)
Moving over to sketch the Farmer's Market on the square, or the 1880s and 1890s architecture of Main Street, including the old General Store on the corner of the square http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/Content ... =R:HI72766.
Other places near the square include the Green Circle Trail and the Wisconsin River and city parks on the river.
MEET UP - 1:00 p.m. at EMY Js. To share our sketches and post.
Looking forward to being out and about with you on this SketchCrawl!
If you have questions or other suggestions, please let me know - Kathe - kjulin@uwsp.edu.

Still working to get more people out to sketch with me - however, I still had a good time and it was fun sharing the sketches with others.

Sketching downtown Main Street in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at the Farmer's Market in the Public Square. People did stop by to chat with me and look to see what I was doing and one took some photos.

Enjoyable time, and then a nice chat with the group over by Emy Js, sharing the sketches.
Over to Bukolt Park down by the Wisconsin River which runs next to downtown. A longer watercolor sketch there and a quick sketch in ink.

Lots of great places to sketch "plein air" near the square, especially Bukolt Park.

Your drawing style is so clear. There is a feeling of space and light.
