Great Thanks to Millstone Plantation Director Majken Peterzen for opening this venue (free to sketchcrawlers) and for her hospitality and thorough planning!
Fancy artists' signs led us down the red clay road to the lake and cool boathouse where wild geese were nesting nearby.
Rolling pasture hills were dotted with some of North Florida's most magnificent Live Oak trees as well as free range llamas, goats and sheep.
A dinner bell called us to excellent healthy lunches prepared in the 1840's plantation house kitchen thanks to Joan and Majken and her friend.
A full day of sketching in perfect Spring weather!
We enjoyed the warmth and glowing light of the bonfire at dusk which created the perfect atmosphere for the dramatic readings from Southern Epitaphs by Author Charles Conaway. The creative presentations by these talented voice actors topped off this great 12-hour Art marathon.
I'll add more images as they are emailed to me...
