On Saturday afternoon we met at an old beer garden situated in the middle of an area of allotment gardens.
In this beer garden times seems to stand still and it is a perfect location to find some relaxation among the shades of old and high chestnut trees.
In spite of the current heatwave and dark clouds at the horizon a handful of brave sketchers showed up and we had a great afternoon with sketching and chatting. Around five o'clock some short downpours made us leave our place under the chestnut trees and we found shelter under a porch roof of the tavern.
Thanks to Anita, Fanda, Gabi and John for participating in this sketchcrawl.
I hope Arco Iris can meet us next time!

Hi M9Fred, Rands, Fanda, Gabi and Anita!
M9Fred, your sketching continues to grow and your write up so clear we could enjoy your experience vicariously.
How nice to see all your renditions Fanda, Gabi and Anita. John's street lamp is so cool, like trumpets or trombones!
By the way, I saw a dance studio named Arco Iris in Florida.
We had a standpipe like Anita's in our place in Wien. I'm glad it is not the only water source per floor these days.
We miss the Austrian people and food and beer gardens.
You are lucky you posted AFTER the "Passport Hacker"! I think our results are on page 3 now!

Happy smiles, crispy biscuits, an beautiful sketchers seem to make the garden a paradise. You look enjoying sketchcrawl itself. Inspiring to me.
Enjoyed all your drawings, how accurate the lamp drawing is!

Thanks for your comments on the Tallahassee sketchcers, M9fred!
I took my inspiration for drawing the detailed leaves and pine cones from Gabi who always finds beauty in small objects, often from nature.
