Nightingail, Angeleno Heights sounds like a great idea, and we've never sketchcrawled there. Will keep in mind for future crawls.

Hi everyone, I will be attending worldwide sketchcrawl at Urban Sketchers symposium in Singapore, so I've asked fellow sketchers Phoebe and Rix to host the LA sketchcrawl. Info is below:

48th World Wide SketchCrawl
Hosts: Phoebe Wilson & Rix Cerezo
Let's Go Sketching

"Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House",

the gem of Barnsdall Art Park, has finally reopened!

Saturday July 25th, 2015 @ Barnsdall Art Park

10AM – Meet at the Information/Ticket Building and take the self-guided "Walk Wright In" tour ($7 for adults, $3 for students & seniors with ID, credit card only!) or get right down to sketching. (For a printable .pdf of the tour scroll to the bottom of the tour page.)

12:30PM – Meet again at the Information/Ticket Building to share our drawings and take a group photo.

1PM – Lunch and more sketching of the street scene of Los Feliz on Vermont between Franklin Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard.

Getting to Barnsdall Park:

Parking: free in the parking lot off Hollywood Blvd. and along the road going up to the top of the hill of Barndsdall Park.

Metro: The Vermont/Sunset Red Line station is right next to the Park, as well as multiple bus lines.

Wheelchair Accessibility: Handicap parking is available at the top of Barnsdall Art Park, outside the Hollyhock House motor court. In addition, elevator access is available on the south end of the park near the Metro Red Line exit, with a second elevator at the base of the Barnsdall Art Center.

Remember: water, hat, sun block, sketching chair, if desired, and whatever other creature comforts you need for a good long session."

Thanks for posting this Shiho.

Separately, I keep forgetting about Will Rogers State Park and want to throw it into the pile for a SketchCrawl sometime.

Have a super time in Singapore.
