NEW ZEALAND [RESULTS]

Being the first sketchers awake, we in NZ have the privilege of posting first.

In New Plymouth (on the left hand lump of the North Island) we awoke to a wet winters day, which drove us indoors. The Ozone Coffee Roasters was ideal with several large tables and an industrial look. At one point a 2 year old at another table came over to us to share her colourful pictures. So we were in good company.

Several of us afterwards tried sketching from the car, and for a while had to leave the wipers on. But we still had an entertaining day.

Car sketching. Too nippy outside, with wipers in intermittent and the demister, we drew the old Public Trust building, now a residence. Located opposite Ozone.

I'm glad you found an interesting indoor location to stay warm and dry. Nice sketches indoors and outdoors. I often sketch from my car during the NY winters. Thanks for sharing your day.
