Fredericksburg. VA USA [RESULTS]

The Fredericksburg Crawlers spent a couple of hours at Snead's Pick Your Own Pumpkin Farm on Saturday. Here in Virginia USA, the fall is filled with Harvest Festivals. We buy pumpkins to carve for Halloween Jack O'Lanterns, we enjoy seasonal apples and cider, sunflowers and zinnias are in full bloom and the crisp air is rejuvenating. Snead's Farm has rope swings for the kids in the barn and over the creek, mazes through the sunflower and corn fields, kettle-cooked popcorn, farm animals to meet and, my favorite, fresh red raspberries to buy! Everyone was in high spirits even though it was cloudy and cool. I was able to get one sketch done before it started to rain.

I took some photos and did another page when I got home. I know this is sort of cheating but I still wanted to record the day. (I would have sketched the box of raspberries but they got eaten before I could pull out my sketchbook )
