We’ll meet at 10am in front of Howard Station Cafe ​located at 3611 bohemian hwy, Occidental, CA.
And share our sketches at 1pm in the same location.

Such an enjoyable morning/early afternoon! Thanks fellow sketchers Richard, Phillip, & Pippa!

I was attracted to the large palms in front of the Barley & Hops Pub, in historic…funky, Occidental. This northern California town is very close to where I grew up and have seen it evolve over the years. My main image of the day was of the pub itself and palms and favorite part of the image, not surprisingly were the palms. Second image, while waiting for watercolor on main image to dry, was a composition of dry, autumn leaves near my feet on the sidewalk. Enjoy!

Wonderful watercolor technique, Sharon; especially loved the autumn leaves composition, its color, and poignancy. Thought of coming down to join you guys, but settled on Point Arena area, closer to home.
