The Maine Ave. Fish Market crossed my mind as a potential location. (Near the Waterfront Station)
But of course, thoughts and comments on where to sketch are welcome!

Hi Chris!!! I am going to be in Baltimore the weekend of the crawl and and 90% certain i will come in to DC for it

Awesome!

So- We'll meet at the Maine Avenue Fish Market around 11 (though it might be prudent to aim for 10:30). The closest metro seems to be Smithsonian Station (Orange or Blue Line), then walk a few blocks straight south.

There are not likely going to be many places to sit while drawing, so I would suggest bringing a stool if you have one.

And hopefully, as it's a fish market, there will be decent food options on site...

I haven't actually had a chance to visit the market yet, but hopefully it will be a fun site to sketch. People and food and fish and ... probably a bit of an odor...

I haven't been to DC since the 5th grade and have been looking forward to the visit. How awesome that a sketchcrawl is that weekend!
