Fredericksburg, VA USA <RESULTS>

Post by Raudy »

There were 4 of us at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens near Richmond (about 1 hour south of Fredericksburg) today. It was a lovely sunny day but there was still snow on the ground and it was chilly out of the sun. I hope to go back into my sketchbook later and work from some photos I took today but for now, here is a sketch I finished today...

Hi Raudy,
your sketch looks awesome, I'd love to see it better - at the moment it's very small. Could you link to a bigger version please? :D

Dandelion, thanks. Here's a larger version of the gazebo sketch. Thanks for asking.

Also, here is the opposite page that I did while having lunch in the cafe. The view out the window was colorful paper lanterns hanging in the bare trees.
