We have decided on an ambitious sketching start to the year on the brand new Sightseeing Red Bus Tour of Johannesburg, which begins operating on the 15th Jan (today!). It leaves from the first stop at the Gautrain station at Park Station, and travels around the city. We will meet at the Sightseeing Bus Stop at Park Station (parking in the grounds, or come on the Gautrain) at 09h45, to leave on the 10h20 bus. If anyone wants to catch up with us later, Gold Reef City will probably be the best place as we will have lunch and a longer sketch there (and at least one of us is keen to go on the rides!!)

We won’t have time to get off at all the stops, GRC and the Main St Mining District are probably the best sketching options, but we may fit in one or two more depending on how everyone’s feeling.
Tickets bought online are R120 for a full day hop-on hop-off, and includes a ticket to Gold Reef City, where we will probably spend the longest time, and have lunch. You can also buy a ticket on the bus, with credit card only, for R150. They are valid only for the day on which you use them.
